Sunday morning personal

Up kind of early for some reason and plan on going back to bed. Meanwhile I installed Google Earth on E.'s computer (and also Google Chrome) and delved further into the touchpad gesturing issue.
I went and looked at the driver (an Elan) through the Control Panel and didn't see any options for gesturing. So forget about that. I also went onto an Elan website (dated 2008) and it said to download Elan's driver from the system manufacturer's website.

I went onto the Samsung website and saw there is a touchpad driver for this model, but I wonder if it's the same as the one that's installed on the computer.

Meanwhile, the touchpad is just fine (and I wouldn't want to mess up anything). I think I learned everything there is to know about it so I can teach E. While I'm used to using a mouse, I can see getting up to speed on the touchpad. And not having a mouse makes the laptop more portable. (It also has the latest WiFi stuff installed, BTW.)
Lucas on the terrace, probably watching a dove (shot through the dirty slider).

When I opened the slider, he got perturbed.
Lucas has the funniest facial expressions. I've never had a cat who expressed himself (or herself) so much. Except maybe for Lucy (Lucas's predecessor). I'll never forget the time I accidentally shut the slider on her tail. If looks could kill...
