Later

Today was the first day in many moons that I left for work wearing a jacket (a zip-up hoodie, to be exact, an old gift from E.'s). It was in the low 60s. (Right now it's 67 and going down to 62 tonight.) I have the slider cracked open for the cats. Lucas is out on the terrace now.

Pretty lousy TV tonight. New "Selling LA" and "Selling New York." A young Canadian couple are planning to flip an apartment in Manhattan, et al., etc. (You can still "flip" real estate in Manhattan (at "Main Street's" expense) - in LA not so much.) Vain, bloodless shows, almost shameless considering what's going on in the rest of the country.

On that note... Today I received by UPS a packet of papers for the government-backed refinance of my now "under water" condo. Will go through that over the weekend.

[Later] E. called after he'd got home from work. Tonight I was actually expecting it. He was listening to music on my boom box. Tomorrow he gets the rest of his furniture moved in. Can't wait to see the place again. Today his parents came over and put up a nice-looking black-out curtain on his bedroom window, which he needed. (Big bright window in there - bad for sleeping in the daytime, however.)
