Still haven't heard back from E. That's fine. I have more peace of mind myself, knowing at least he's no longer at the BF's. Meanwhile I'm running the dishwasher and making vegetable beef soup.

Oops, he just called (at around 10:10). He was at Flanigan's and wanted to come over. We decided it wouldn't be a good idea. It's about time for me to chill out - I have to go to work in the a.m. I told him to drive carefully. Then I called right back and asked him if he wanted the boom box tonight, and he said he didn't need it. He better go back home. He sounded like he'd had enough.

The soup is chilling in the (clean) sink in cold water before going into the fridge. Some of it's going to work tomorrow for lunch.
