Saturday night personal

Had dinner at Chicken Kitchen, by the Starbucks. Roti-Grill quarter white meat, with sides of black beans (with chopped onion) and balsamic tomatoes. Enjoyed it while reading a new magazine I fished out of the mailbox on my down the elevator. Now watching "Mad Max 3: Beyond Thunderdome." Starring Mel Gibson and Tina Turner. Very bizarre.

Movie over. Pretty good. Now for "Serenity." (Three stars!) Just fed the cat across the hall (neighbor's out of town) and then my own cats. Tried calling friend in Canada and left a message.

[Later] Good movie, "Serenity." Too bad it's almost over. I'd like to watch it again sometime, from the beginning (no cat feedings to distract). It's a continuation of the Fox "Firefly" science fiction TV series, which I'd never even heard of. I like this stuff. Love the future language. (Better than the future language in the Mad Max movie.)

The star of "Serenity," Nathan Fillion, is from Alberta. He's hot and fun to watch.
