Got around to doing something I've been avoiding: connecting a Comcast digital adapter to my secondary TV. (Primary TV is OK.) The adapter has been sitting here for months, but only a couple of weeks ago did I lose programming above Ch. 25 on that TV. I figured it was about time to deal with the dreaded adapter.

It was a lot easier to install than I'd thought. Once installed, I called Comcast to activate, and it worked. Then I screwed it up and had to call Comcast back. Spoke to a human, who fixed it. Came with a new remote and everything. (I learned how not to screw it up again - don't use the old remote. Duh.)

If that's all I accomplish around here during my vacation, that's fine. I'm on vacation, after all. (I did wash throw rugs earlier.)

The cat door is deployed. Lucas has used it once, all by himself, with no help from me. No more meowing at the door. He'll get used to it. I don't think he likes the door slapping his backside when he goes through the opening. He does a little grooming afterward.
