I'm watching last week's show tonight. They're doing kitchens. Paula Deen (whom I like and at whose restaurant in Savannah I had a delightful dinner) is one of the judges. She comes across as almost a caricature of herself. (Count all the "y'all"s.) And then there was the butter dish sitting on a counter - with no butter, as she noted, lifting the top off. Silly stuff.
I think the judges' decision was correct. Poor Tyler (who's BTW gay and cute, with a husband and a son). He made a few mistakes, mostly in not completing the backsplash - it didn't even reach to behind the sink, the splashy place. (Apparently they take time to do - I have yet to do mine, though I've bought the tiles.)
Hope the U.S. stock market is OK in the morning (OK is good enough), since I submitted my redesigned 401K to the 401K company today. Tonight on the NBC Nightly News, they reported that the earlier-opening stock markets (Australia's, e.g.) had opened positively.
